Description

A festive cheese log featuring Italian cheeses and flavors, perfect for holiday gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chopped sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
  • 1/4 cup chopped Kalamata olives
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped pistachios for coating

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, olives, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a log form on a piece of plastic wrap.
  4. Wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
  5. Before serving, roll the log in chopped pistachios to coat.
  6. Serve with crackers or bread.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the mixture.
