Description

Festive cookies loaded with a variety of ingredients for a holiday treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 cup festive sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the vanilla and eggs, one at a time.
  5. Gradually stir in the flour mixture.
  6. Mix in chocolate chips, nuts, dried cranberries, and sprinkles.
  7. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
