Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a wreath-shaped cake pan.
- In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.
- In another bowl, whisk together the oil, buttermilk, eggs, food coloring, vanilla extract, and vinegar.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the frosting: Beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla, beating until creamy.
- Frost the cooled cake and decorate with holiday sprinkles or greenery to resemble a wreath.

Ensure the red food coloring is gel-based for a vibrant color. Store the cake in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
