Description

A warm and comforting dessert featuring baked apples with a crispy cinnamon oat topping.


Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 4 cups sliced apples
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large bowl, mix apples with cinnamon and half of the brown sugar. Spread evenly in a baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, combine oats, flour, remaining brown sugar, and melted butter. Stir until crumbly and sprinkle over the apples.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and apples are tender.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
