- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Cinnamon Swirl:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and 1/2 cup sugar.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- For the cinnamon swirl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Spoon batter into muffin cups, add a teaspoon of cinnamon mixture on top, and swirl with a toothpick.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Ensure not to overmix the batter for fluffy muffins. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
