Description

Deliciously moist muffins with a cream cheese center and a cinnamon swirl, perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack.

For the Crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a muffin tin with liners.
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in milk and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar. Set aside.
  5. Fill each muffin cup halfway with batter. Add a teaspoon of cream cheese and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar. Fill with more batter and top with more cinnamon sugar.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool before serving.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
