Description
A simple and delicious appetizer made with hard-boiled eggs, mayonnaise, and seasonings.
Ingredients

- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika for garnish
Instructions
- Place eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then cover and remove from heat. Let stand for 12 minutes.
- Drain and cool eggs under cold running water. Peel and cut eggs in half lengthwise.
- Remove yolks and place in a bowl. Mash yolks with a fork and mix in mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
- Sprinkle with paprika and chill before serving.
Notes
For a variation, add chopped pickles or chives to the yolk mixture.
