A delicious fusion of a classic Philly cheesesteak turned into a hearty meatloaf.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup provolone cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, onion, bell pepper, mushrooms, garlic, bread crumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Press half of the mixture into a loaf pan. Layer with half of the shredded provolone cheese.
- Add the remaining meat mixture on top and press down firmly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a twist, serve with hoagie rolls or extra cheese on top.
