For the Crust:

  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 and 1/2 cups pecan halves

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Stir in the pecans, then pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust. Bake for 60 minutes, or until the pie is set in the center.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
