Description

A refreshing and creamy salad featuring peas, cheese, and bacon. Perfect as a side dish for any Southern meal.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups frozen peas, thawed
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large bowl, combine thawed peas, red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the dressing over the pea mixture and toss until well coated. Stir in crumbled bacon just before serving.
