For the Crust:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the batter and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Pour the remaining batter over the caramel and chocolate layer. Swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before slicing and serving.
