Description

A rich and moist coffee cake swirled with caramel and chocolate, perfect for a sweet breakfast or dessert treat.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Drizzle caramel sauce over the batter and sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the remaining batter over the caramel and chocolate layer. Swirl gently with a knife to create a marbled effect.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the cake cool before slicing and serving.
