A homemade version of the classic McDonald’s breakfast sandwich featuring steak, egg, and cheese on a bagel.

- 1 plain bagel
- 2 large eggs
- 4 ounces thinly sliced steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 slice American cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter for cooking
Instructions
- Toast the bagel in a toaster until golden brown.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and cook the eggs as desired (scrambled or fried).
- In the same skillet, cook the steak slices until browned and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the bagel by placing the cooked eggs and steak on one half, top with the cheese slice, and cover with the other half of the bagel.
- Serve immediately for the best taste.
Notes
For a closer McDonald’s taste, use processed cheese and ensure the steak is tenderized.
