Description

A simple homemade version of the classic McDonald’s breakfast sandwich featuring steak, egg, and cheese on a bagel.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 plain bagel
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 ounces thinly sliced steak
  • 1 slice American cheese
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: ketchup or hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Toast the bagel in a toaster until golden brown.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until done.
  4. In the same skillet, fry the eggs to your desired doneness.
  5. Assemble the sandwich by placing the cheese on the bottom half of the bagel, then adding the steak and eggs on top.
  6. Top with the other half of the bagel and serve immediately.

Notes

For a healthier option, use turkey bacon instead of steak. Ensure eggs are cooked thoroughly.
