A simple homemade version of the classic McDonald’s breakfast sandwich featuring steak, egg, and cheese on a bagel.

- 1 plain bagel
- 2 large eggs
- 4 ounces thinly sliced steak
- 1 slice American cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: ketchup or hot sauce
Instructions
- Toast the bagel in a toaster until golden brown.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until done.
- In the same skillet, fry the eggs to your desired doneness.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing the cheese on the bottom half of the bagel, then adding the steak and eggs on top.
- Top with the other half of the bagel and serve immediately.
Notes
For a healthier option, use turkey bacon instead of steak. Ensure eggs are cooked thoroughly.
