Description

Fun and colorful cookies that taste like cotton candy, perfect for parties and kids.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup cotton candy flavored candy melts, melted
  • Food coloring (pink and blue)
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a small bowl, stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the vanilla and eggs one at a time.
  5. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients until just blended.
  6. Fold in the melted candy melts and add food coloring to create a swirled effect.
  7. Drop teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool on wire racks.
  10. Decorate with sprinkles once cooled.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days. Use gel food coloring for vibrant colors.
