- 2 pounds flank steak, sliced into thin strips
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 12 slider buns
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, garlic, parsley, smoked paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper to make the cowboy butter.
- Marinate the steak strips in half of the cowboy butter for 30 minutes.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the steak strips for 3-4 minutes per side until done.
- Spread the remaining cowboy butter on the slider buns.
- Assemble the sliders with steak, sliced onions, and shredded lettuce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the butter mixture.
