- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 package (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender; drain.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream; mix well.
- Spread the mixture evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese and arrange tater tots over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and crispy.
Notes
For a spicier version, add diced jalapeรฑos or hot sauce to the beef mixture.
