Description

A hearty and comforting casserole featuring ground beef, cheese, and crispy tater tots, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (32 ounces) frozen tater tots
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is tender; drain.
  3. Stir in cream of mushroom soup and sour cream; mix well.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and arrange tater tots over the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until tater tots are golden and crispy.

Notes

For a spicier version, add diced jalapeรฑos or hot sauce to the beef mixture.
