- 1 package (6 ounces) cranberry flavored Jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 can (14 ounces) whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a large bowl, dissolve the Jello in boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
- Stir in the cranberry sauce and crushed pineapple until well combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the mixture into a serving dish and refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
- In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add sour cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the set Jello layer.
- Refrigerate for another hour before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and sour cream. Chill thoroughly for the best texture.
