Description

A holiday favorite featuring a turkey breast glazed with a sweet and tangy cranberry orange mixture.


Ingredients

  • 1 (3-4 pound) turkey breast, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, honey, orange zest, Dijon mustard, garlic, and thyme. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and the mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
  3. Pat the turkey breast dry and season with salt and pepper. Rub with olive oil.
  4. Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan. Brush generously with the cranberry orange glaze.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 1 to 1.5 hours, basting every 20 minutes with more glaze, until the internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF (74ยฐC).
  6. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a crispier skin, broil the turkey for the last 5 minutes.
