A delicious creamy pasta dish featuring bacon, chicken, and mushrooms in a rich sauce.

- 8 oz pasta
- 2 chicken breasts, sliced
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 5 minutes; remove bacon and set aside, leaving the grease in the pan.
- Add sliced chicken breasts to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes; remove and set aside with the bacon.
- In the same skillet, add diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add sliced mushrooms and cook until they release their moisture and brown, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Return the chicken and bacon to the skillet and mix well.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until evenly coated with the sauce. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or milk. Pairs well with garlic bread.
