For the Crust:
- 2 cups uncooked bowtie pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautรฉ until tender.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in mushrooms, beef broth, and heavy cream, then season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese, stirring to combine.
- Serve hot and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
