For the Crust:

  • 2 cups uncooked bowtie pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sautรฉ until tender.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in mushrooms, beef broth, and heavy cream, then season with thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Add the cooked pasta and Parmesan cheese, stirring to combine.
  5. Serve hot and garnish with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
