Description

A creamy one-pot pasta dish featuring tender chicken, crispy bacon, and fresh broccoli, perfect for a quick and hearty meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces uncooked pasta
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 6 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups chicken broth

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the uncooked pasta, broccoli florets, chicken broth, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes or until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and reserved bacon. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a healthier option, use turkey bacon and low-fat cream. Ensure broccoli is fresh for the best texture and flavor.
