- 8 ounces uncooked pasta
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups chicken broth
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the pot.
- Add the chicken pieces to the pot and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the uncooked pasta, broccoli florets, chicken broth, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper to the pot. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to a simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes or until pasta is tender and sauce has thickened.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and reserved bacon. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a healthier option, use turkey bacon and low-fat cream. Ensure broccoli is fresh for the best texture and flavor.
