For the Crust:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, milk, peas and carrots, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
