A delicious and comforting casserole with tender chicken, creamy sauce, and fluffy rice.

For the Crust:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, rice, cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, milk, peas and carrots, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  5. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
