- 4 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
- 200g bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200g mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cooked rice
Instructions
- Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, brown the chicken slices; remove and set aside.
- Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the skillet; sauté until softened.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Return chicken to the skillet and cook until tender.
- Stir in sour cream and heat through without boiling.
- Serve over rice and top with crispy bacon.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use smoked bacon. Ensure not to boil the sour cream mixture to prevent curdling.
