Description

A creamy chicken stroganoff featuring tender chicken, mushrooms, and sour cream, topped with crispy bacon and served over fluffy rice.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 200g bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Cook bacon in a large skillet until crispy; remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, brown the chicken slices; remove and set aside.
  3. Add onion, garlic, and mushrooms to the skillet; sauté until softened.
  4. Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually add chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Return chicken to the skillet and cook until tender.
  7. Stir in sour cream and heat through without boiling.
  8. Serve over rice and top with crispy bacon.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use smoked bacon. Ensure not to boil the sour cream mixture to prevent curdling.
