Description

Tender pan-seared chicken breasts smothered in a rich, creamy garlic, butter, and Parmesan sauce. An incredibly flavorful and easy one-pan dinner that feels indulgent yet comes together in under an hour.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Season chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Reduce heat to medium. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sautรฉ for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring constantly, until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened.
  5. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes to heat the chicken through. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
