- 1 pound boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
- Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
