Description

A rich and creamy pasta bake featuring tender chicken, garlic, and parmesan cheese, perfect for a comforting family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss everything together until well coated.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
  9. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve hot.

Notes

For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the sauce. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
