For the Crust:
- 1 pound Italian sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, and cook until the onion is translucent.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, spinach, and diced tomatoes. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
