For the Crust:

  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. In a large pot, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the pot, and cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Stir in the heavy cream, spinach, and diced tomatoes. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
