Ingredients

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 package (20 oz) cheese tortellini
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions and garlic, sautรฉ until fragrant.
  2. Add ground beef and sausage to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  3. Meanwhile, cook tortellini according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Add cooked tortellini to the skillet and toss until well coated with the creamy sauce.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
