- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add shrimp, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper; cook for 2-3 minutes per side until shrimp turns pink.
- Pour in heavy cream and lime juice; stir and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Stir in chopped cilantro and remove from heat.
- Serve immediately with rice or tortillas.
Notes
For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or cayenne pepper to taste. Pairs well with a cold beer.
