For the Crust:

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sautรฉ until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
  4. Stir the marinara sauce into the beef mixture and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. On low heat, add the Velveeta cheese cubes to the sauce, stirring until completely melted and combined.
  6. Toss the cooked spaghetti with the creamy Velveeta beef marinara sauce until well coated.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
