For the Crust:
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 8 oz Velveeta cheese, cubed
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and minced garlic; sautรฉ until translucent.
- Add ground beef to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook until browned, then drain excess fat.
- Stir the marinara sauce into the beef mixture and simmer for 10 minutes.
- On low heat, add the Velveeta cheese cubes to the sauce, stirring until completely melted and combined.
- Toss the cooked spaghetti with the creamy Velveeta beef marinara sauce until well coated.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
