Description

These chicken lollipops are marinated, coated in a crispy batter, and fried to perfection, making them an irresistible appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 500g chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornflour
  • 1 egg
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Clean and trim the chicken wings, then make lollipop shapes by pushing the meat to one end.
  2. Marinate the chicken lollipops with ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric, garam masala, and salt for 30 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, cornflour, egg, and a little water to make a smooth batter.
  4. Dip the marinated chicken lollipops into the batter, ensuring they are fully coated.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or pan and fry the lollipops until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

For extra crispiness, double-fry the lollipops. Ensure oil is at the right temperature to avoid sogginess.
