Description
Crispy phyllo rolls filled with feta cheese, drizzled with a spicy honey sauce, perfect as an appetizer.

- 8 sheets phyllo dough
- 200g feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the crumbled feta cheese with the beaten egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough and brush it lightly with olive oil. Place a second sheet on top and brush again.
- Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the feta mixture along the short edge of the phyllo sheets.
- Roll the phyllo tightly around the filling to form a log, then cut into 2-inch pieces and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and crispy.
- While baking, heat honey in a small saucepan with red pepper flakes until warmed through.
- Drizzle the spicy honey over the baked rolls and serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier version, increase the red pepper flakes. Best served fresh and hot.
