A hearty fall dish featuring acorn squash stuffed with apples and spices.

- 2 acorn squashes, halved and seeded
- 2 apples, cored and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Place squash halves cut side down in a baking dish and bake for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix apples, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, and nuts.
- Remove squash from oven, stuff with apple mixture, and bake for another 20-25 minutes until tender.
