Description

Delicious and healthy baked broccoli cheese balls perfect for snacking.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Steam the broccoli florets until they are tender, about 5 minutes, then chop them finely.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, shredded cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the balls are golden brown and firm.
  6. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
