Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground sausage
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large eggs
  • Optional: 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned; drain excess fat.
  3. Sprinkle flour over sausage and stir to combine.
  4. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until gravy thickens.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Layer biscuits in a greased baking dish.
  7. Pour gravy over biscuits.
  8. Beat eggs and pour over the mixture.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and set.
  10. Optional: Top with cheese and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
