Description
A simple and flavorful recipe for broiling lobster tails with butter to achieve a juicy and delicious result.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails (about 6–8 ounces each)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven's broiler on high and position the rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
- Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise down the center, stopping at the tail fan.
- Gently loosen the meat from the shell, keeping it attached at the base, and lift it up to rest on top of the shell.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the lobster meat generously with the butter mixture.
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and broil for 8-10 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and lightly browned, basting with more butter halfway through.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 2-3 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
For the best results, use fresh lobster tails and avoid overcooking to keep them juicy. Pair with a side of drawn butter or a fresh salad.
