A simple and comforting casserole made with chicken and stuffing, perfect for a quick family dinner.

- 1 (6 ounce) package chicken flavor stuffing mix
- 1 1/2 cups hot water
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 4 cups cooked chicken, cubed
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions using the 1 1/2 cups hot water and 1/4 cup butter.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, milk, and shredded Cheddar cheese.
- Spread the cooked chicken in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Pour the soup mixture over the chicken.
- Top with the prepared stuffing.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
Notes
This casserole can be prepared ahead and refrigerated; just add 10 minutes to baking time if starting from cold.
