- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar for coating
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Scoop dough into balls, flatten slightly, and add a dollop of cream cheese mixture in the center.
- Fold the dough around the cream cheese and roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Place on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow to cool on a wire rack before serving.
