Description

These easy cinnamon sugar blondies are soft, chewy, and packed with cinnamon flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (177ยฐC). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, and whisk until combined.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over the batter.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a stronger cinnamon flavor, add more cinnamon to the batter.
