Description

This easy recipe features grilled lobster tails basted in a flavorful cowboy butter sauce made with herbs, garlic, and spices for a mouthwatering meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 lobster tails (about 6 ounces each)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, salt, and pepper to create the cowboy butter.
  3. Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of each lobster tail lengthwise and loosen the meat from the shell, but keep it attached at the base.
  4. Brush the cowboy butter generously over the lobster meat.
  5. Place the lobster tails on the grill, meat side up, and cook for 5-7 minutes, basting with more butter halfway through.
  6. Once the meat is opaque and firm, remove from the grill.
  7. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

For a spicier version, increase the red pepper flakes. Ensure lobster is fresh for the best flavor.
