Description

Soft and chewy red velvet cookies topped with a Hershey’s Kiss, perfect for holiday baking.


Ingredients

  • 11/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 11/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • Hershey's Kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.
  4. Add egg, food coloring, and vanilla; mix well.
  5. Gradually add flour mixture to butter mixture.
  6. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until set.
  8. Immediately press a Hershey's Kiss into the center of each cookie.
