Description

Delicious and easy-to-make meringue cookies flavored with Jello for a fun twist.


Ingredients

  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 (3 oz) package Jello gelatin (any flavor)
  • Optional: Food coloring

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 200°F (95°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
  3. Gradually add sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold in the Jello powder until well incorporated.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of mixture onto prepared baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 1-1.5 hours or until dry and crisp. Let cool completely.
