Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the melted butter, mixing well.
- Sift in the flour and mix until just combined.
- Slowly pour in the milk, lemon zest, and lemon juice, stirring gently to combine.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the top is golden and set.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before dusting with powdered sugar and serving.
Notes
