- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes. Ensure chicken is fully cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F.
