Description

A fresh and healthy salmon dish featuring herbs and Mediterranean flavors.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Cherry tomatoes and olives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Place the salmon fillets on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle the salmon with chopped oregano, basil, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Arrange lemon slices on top of the salmon.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  7. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with cherry tomatoes and olives if desired.

Notes

For the best flavor, use fresh herbs; this dish pairs well with a side of quinoa or roasted vegetables.
