Ingredients

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, beat the peanut butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips and shortening, stirring every 30 seconds.
  6. Dip each ball into the melted chocolate and return to the baking sheet.
  7. Refrigerate until chocolate is set, about 1 hour.
