Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, crushed pineapple, shredded coconut, vegetable oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting or serving.

Notes

For a more tropical flavor, add extra shredded coconut on top. Store in an airtight container.
