- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, crushed pineapple, shredded coconut, vegetable oil, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Mix until well blended.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting or serving.
Notes
For a more tropical flavor, add extra shredded coconut on top. Store in an airtight container.
