- 1 pound fresh salmon, skin removed and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the sauce: 1 ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cumin
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a bit of oil. Cook the salmon balls for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
- For the sauce: In a blender, combine the avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, and cumin. Blend until smooth.
- Serve the salmon balls with the creamy avocado sauce on the side.
Notes
