A simple and comforting casserole made with ground beef, egg noodles, and sour cream.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
- Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat; drain fat.
- Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until well combined.
- Mix in the cooked noodles and season with salt and pepper.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted.
Notes
This casserole can be prepared ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking.
