Description

A simple and comforting casserole made with ground beef, egg noodles, and sour cream.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onion over medium heat; drain fat.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and sour cream until well combined.
  5. Mix in the cooked noodles and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and cheese is melted.

Notes

This casserole can be prepared ahead and refrigerated for up to 24 hours before baking.
