A delicious and quick teriyaki beef bowl with sweet pineapple and fluffy rice, perfect for a weeknight dinner.

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp ginger powder
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced flank steak and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in the teriyaki sauce, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Cook for another 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  3. Add the pineapple chunks and cook for 1-2 minutes until warmed through. Serve the beef and pineapple mixture over cooked rice. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
