- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a medium bowl, mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add peanut butter and vanilla; mix well.
- Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in melted chocolate chips and sour cream.
- Pour the batter over the crust and smooth the top. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the center is set.
- Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes, then run a knife around the edge to loosen. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality chocolate and peanut butter. This cheesecake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
